Summer competition
The winner of the competition is Louise Wilde, who entered on Facebook and the competition is now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered.
We know you love our lovely fresh seafood and we also know you love a barbecue so our 2019 Summer Competition brings the two together.
It’s mega easy to enter. Just like and share our post, tagging two friends with whom you’d like to share your BBQ hamper should you win. Full details below.
The winner will scoop a fabulous seafood BBQ hamper worth £100, packed with fresh fish and shellfish perfect for a barbecue for you, your friends and family on the August bank holiday weekend.
We’ll announce the winner on Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday 20th August, just in time for the August bank holiday weekend.
The winner must be able to come and collect the prize from our Deal shop between Tuesday 20th and Saturday 24th August, 2019.
This fabulour hamper is packed with seafood: there are 5 x tuna steaks, 5 x swordfish steaks, 2kg peeled tiger prawns, 1kg king prawns, 1 side fresh Scottish salmon – all in all a whopping 6.5kg of seafood – enough to feed a BBQ of 20-25 people.
The competition starts today, Friday 19th July,2019 and runs until Monday 23rd August, 2019.How to enter

The competition is being run by Jenkins & Son fishmongers in Deal, Kent. It is not associated in any way with Facebook or Instagram.
The competition runs from Friday 19th July 2019 to Monday 19th August, 2019
The winner will be announced on Tuesday 20th August on Facebook, Instagram and our website
The prize hamper will be available for collection from our Deal High Street shop on Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th August (the bank holiday weekend)
We welcome entries from amateurs and professionals of any age who is able to collect their prize in person
You must enter only photos you have taken yourself
You must be able to collect your prize, should you win, from Jenkins & Son’s shop in Deal on the dates given.
No cash alternative will be given
The competition will be judged by the Jenkins & Son team
The judges decision is final
