La Madone is the landmark hilltop chapel dedicated to its namesake overlooking the Fleurie vineyards. It is the arenite soils that dominate the 2000 acres of the appellation and is key to the final style of Fleurie deemed to be the more feminine of the Beaujolais crus, perfumed, aromatic and with a noteable floral twist of violets. Silky and elegant throughout the palate with an abundance of blackcurrant and red berry fruits.
